Some of my first embroidery projects
Why might you ask, did I get into cross-stitching? Well, it was about two years ago in August. I has just had my wisdom teeth taken out. I became bored sitting around not being able to talk and needed something to do. My mom had cross-stitched, embroidered, made my sister and I clothes for as long as I can remember. Naturally she handed me some fabric, a needle, thread and a pattern. The first thing I stitched was my intial R. Since that time I have been addicted to stitching!! Then I recieved the book sublime stitching and I got into embroidery as well!

I love the little rocket-ship purse. Are they from the Sublime Stitching patterns? They look vaguely familiar. Very cute stuff!
